Ready to sell?

If you wish to go ahead, we’ll get your house put on the market for you as soon as you’re ready. Your house will be advertised on all the major property websites including Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket and many more.

We will photograph and enhance all images of your home, we prepare modern sales particulars which include a floor plan and a detailed description of your home and the surrounding area.

For those looking for the ultimate showcase we can even arrange for the property to be professionally photographed, have a virtual 3D tour and premium listing. We can also provide an eye-catching sales board to be put up outside.

Successful viewings

Once your property is on the market and advertised on all major property websites, the team at Zoom will contact you to arrange viewings with potential buyers.

Did you know that viewers often make up their minds within seconds of visiting your home? This means first impressions count. Less is more so aim to declutter your home, while keeping a homely feel. Make sure the property looks as tidy, bright and fresh as it can. Open the curtains and turn on the lights if it’s a dark day.

Prepare for your viewing

We have lots of hints and tips to help you prepare your home for viewings on our blog. These tips are also useful for our visit, when we will be taking the best possible pictures of your property.

We will always let you know who is wishing to view your property and when. Feedback will be provided promptly after every viewing.

Offers, offers, offers

The next step is getting an offer! We will negotiate and financially qualify all offers,  whilst advising you on the buyer’s position, so you can achieve the best possible price for your home.

Offer accepted!

Once you have accepted an offer we will charge a small admin fee (£118.80 including VAT) to the buyer to show commitment towards the purchase. This gives you peace of mind when we take your property off of the market.

We take the stress away by taking control of all the legal bits while you celebrate selling your home. Once an offer is accepted there is often a surge of activity between estate agents, solicitors and mortgage lenders. We understand that this can be an anxious time for you. Not only will we do the chasing for you, we will ensure you are kept updated and offered plenty of moral support along the way.

Instruct a legal team

Your property is now sold subject to contract. The next step will be to instruct a legal team to act on the conveyancing of the sale.

We can provide you with a range of conveyancers to tailor your needs, giving you peace of mind that everything is dealt with in-house, and you won’t have to be in contact with multiple organisations.

Exchange of contracts

Zoom will work hand-in-hand with you, the conveyancer, the buyer and any other estate agents involved, and provide you with regular updates throughout the sale process. We will make you aware of certain milestones such as surveys and other key events. This is where we differ from other online agencies – you will receive a full traditional service.

You will then exchange contracts. This is when the sale of your home becomes legally binding and the buyer’s deposit is transferred to your solicitor. We will let you know as soon as this stage of the sale has gone ahead.


Congratulations, you have successfully sold your home using Zoom!
When moving out ensure that you leave the property as described in the contract, with the agreed fixtures and fittings, and everything else has been cleared out accordingly. It is always nice to have a clean home to move into.

Completion and moving in normally coincide on the same day. We will help to ensure sure this happens at the same time so you can move in out and in one day with ease. We will only release your keys once your solicitor confirms he has received funds. All official deeds for the property are also handed over at this point.
